Perhaps the privilege of being able to see things from a different angle makes me care more about the landscape of Taiwan. While enjoying the fun of flight, we sublime the joy into a personal mission and try to record faithfully the diverse views of Taiwan. Every one becomes the forever young Peter Pan when scanning the aerial photos——so may the thrill of flying high over Taiwan brings to your heart a fond love for this land.

Cingshui Cliff.Hualien County
Cingshui Cliff, the highest sea-front cliff and one of the top eight views of Taiwan, soars into the clouds and stretches for 21 km along the Pacific Ocean. Its major composition includes marble, gneiss and green schist which are compact and hard to collapse, hence the precipitous terrain remains mostly unchanged over years.

Towering over the other Top 100 Peaks, Mt. Jade Main Peak manifests an imperial sublime that comes from its height as well as hardness. When the plate collision moved Mt. Jade up to the commanding elevation of East Asia, the adamant silicarenite (quartz sandstone) has supported the peak to endure millions years’ weathering and preserved its intact purity. Mt. Huangzuei is a perfect cone volcano at an altitude of 912 meters. On the top of this steep mountain there is a distinct crater, and a small crater lake forms when it rains. A most beautiful landscape of lush green mountains under the blue sky is presented to visitors who come in midsummer. Towering over the other Top 100 Peaks, Mt. Where the Hengchun Peninsula and the ocean meet, a delicate arc of cove is formed. As the power of waves is lessened through physical effect, broken seashells and coral corpses from the neighboring sea are carried here, and their burial ground becomes a natural shining white coast of a Shadao. With 97% of the sand composed of seashells, corals and planktons, the coast is unique in the world to show the coexistence between beauty and peril lying in this green field and blue ocean.
