Su-lan Chiu-Lu

Not until she was 63 did Su-lan Chiu-Lu (Granny Su-lan), mom of Ming-yuan Chiu who works as an engineer, start to carry her heavy gear of telescope and camera around Taiwan to photograph those“ beautiful fliers” in Taiwan. She then donated all the earnings from her publications to conservation groups or charities, expecting more people to take seriously conservation-related issues on this lovely land.

With the vivid description added by her son, these photographs of Granny Su-lan will lead readers into a different world of birds.
