These distinguished guests had not received due care,
But only become game of greedy humans.
Now under incessant efforts from conservationists,
Taiwan has given back respect these feathered friends deserve,
And transformed into a unique sanctuary for them.

Tiny as birds are,
They carry the secrets of evolution of all life forms on earth.
When we learn to observe them,
We'll see their intriguing behavior.
When we learn to listen to them,
We'll hear their melodious chirps.
When we learn to care about them,
We'll understand all they want is
Nothing more than a safe haven as we do.

Atop all living things, we as humans should have a caring heart
To protect the habitats for birds
Just as how we safeguard the homeland of our own.
