Drone aerial photography applications at Taroko National Park will be temporarily suspended from February 12 to February 23, 2026.
Applicants planning to use drones for aerial photography during the Lunar New Year holiday or the 228 Peace Memorial Day long weekend are advised to submit their applications in advance.
According to Item 2 of the Drone Aerial Photography Application Guidelines of Taroko National Park, applications must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled filming date.
As the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday runs from February 14 to February 22 (a total of 9 days), and in order to complete the review process before the holiday period, the Temporary Drone Aerial Photography Application System of Taroko National Park is scheduled to suspend application acceptance from February 12 to February 23, 2026. During this period, the system will be temporarily closed.
To avoid impacts on filming plans due to the suspension of administrative reviews by government agencies during the Lunar New Year holiday, applicants who plan to conduct drone aerial photography from the Lunar New Year holiday through three days after the end of the 228 Peace Memorial Day holiday
(February 14 to March 4, 2026)
must submit their applications no later than February 10, 2026.
