Provincial Highway 9 (Su-hua Highway) Construction Traffic Control
1. Traffic control for the Su'ao–Dong'ao section of the Su-hua Highway Improvement Project (Provincial Highway 9)
From 21:00 on June 29 to 06:00 the following day, the southbound lane will be closed.
From 21:00 on June 30 to 06:00 the following day, the northbound lane will be closed.
Please follow the instructions of on-site traffic control personnel and detour via Provincial Highway 9D.
2. Culvert construction on Provincial Highway 9D at km 8+135–km 8+140 (Jiugongli section)
From June 15 to June 30, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, one-lane alternating traffic control will be implemented.
3. Concrete barrier work at km 117+600 on Provincial Highway 9 (Xin'ao Tunnel machinery room section)
From June 9 to July 10, the construction area will narrow the roadway. Please slow down and drive carefully through this section. (Including weekends)
4. Pavement paving work on Provincial Highway 9 at km 118+800–km 120+150 (Nan'ao section)
From June 22 to June 25, daily from 19:00 to 07:00 the following day, traffic control will be implemented as needed.
5. Slope protection work on Provincial Highway 9 at km 120+700 (Nan'ao section)
From June 16 to July 15, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic control will be implemented as needed.
6. Slope trimming and mesh installation on Provincial Highway 9D at km 37+600–km 37+800 (Guanyin section)
From June 24 to July 31, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic will be released for 10 minutes every hour on the hour.
7. Functional inspection of lower slope anchor protection on Provincial Highway 9D at km 43+320–km 44+400 (Guanyin section)
From June 22 to July 3, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic will be released for 10 minutes every hour on the hour. (Motorcycles are not subject to traffic control.)
8. Slope trimming work on Provincial Highway 9D at km 45+250 (Guanyin section)
From April 24 to June 30, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic will be released for 10 minutes every hour on the hour.
9. Installation of tunnel traffic control system brackets on Provincial Highway 9D at km 51+900–km 52+138 (Aohua Tunnel)
On June 23 and June 24, from 21:00 to 06:00 the following day, traffic control will be implemented as needed.
10. Mobile traffic control due to military operations on Provincial Highway 9 at km 158+500–km 163+300 (from north entrance of Daqingshui Tunnel to south entrance of Chongde Tunnel)
Traffic control will be implemented as needed during the following periods:
June 24: 06:00–08:00 and 22:00–24:00
June 25: 22:00–24:00
Due to earthquake impacts, mountain roads are prone to rockfalls. During heavy rain or continuous rainfall, road conditions may be difficult to predict. Please avoid entering mountain roads after disasters unless necessary. Always check weather information and road conditions before traveling and prepare alternative plans in advance.

Provincial Highway 14A Construction Traffic Control Information
【Pavement Repair on Provincial Highway 14A km 32+800–km 36 (Mt. Hehuan Lodge to Xiaofengkou Section)】
From June 15 to June 30, daily from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic will be released once every hour.
(Including weekends and holidays)
【Two-way Traffic Control on Provincial Highway 14A km 0–km 31+350 (Wushe to Mt. Hehuan Visitor Center Section) for the 2026 Never Stop – Wu Ling Cycling Challenge】
The Taiwan Cycling Association will hold the 2026 Never Stop – Wu Ling Cycling Challenge on June 27, 2026.
From 04:50 to 15:00 on June 27, traffic control will be implemented on both directions of Provincial Highway 14A km 0–km 31+350 (Wushe to Mt. Hehuan Visitor Center section).
Drivers passing through the event area are advised to follow the signs set up by the organizer and the instructions of traffic control personnel, or take alternative routes in advance.
The Highway Bureau reminds drivers traveling through the above sections to pay attention to roadside variable message signs.
The Traffic Control Center will continuously release traffic updates and provide driving recommendations.
