In the heat of midsummer, the Marine National Park Headquarters of the National Park Service, Ministry of the Interior, joined hands with the "Taiwan Promise Public Welfare Association" and "Jiangjun Elementary School of Jiangjun District, Tainan City," calling together about 25 Special Forces volunteers and teachers to head to Dongyuping of Penghu’s four southern islets to carry out a three-day beach cleanup and trail restoration by hand.

Overcoming challenges of high temperatures and sea conditions, the team conducted coastal cleanups, trail reconstructions, and environmental tidying, using local stone materials to repair the Front Mountain Trail damaged by typhoons and foot traffic, improving transit safety and landscape quality.

A total of approximately 287 kilograms of marine debris was cleared this time, demonstrating the actionable power to protect marine and island ecology. The organizers stated that by combining volunteer energy with school education, it not only deepens environmental education but also roots conservation actions among younger generations, and will continue to promote cross-sector cooperation in the future to jointly protect the marine environment.
