Shoushan National Nature Park boasts rich flora and fauna resources, making it an important shallow mountain ecological environment in Taiwan, but invasive alien species and human interference are threatening native species and habitats.

To promote biodiversity conservation, the National Nature Park Administration has launched the "Surprise Night at the Exhibition Hall" environmental education event, inviting families with children from kindergarten senior classes to third grade of elementary school to participate. With biodiversity and shallow mountain protection as its main theme, the event uses diverse methods such as exhibition guided tours, biological observations, role-playing, challenge missions, picture books, and videos to guide participants in understanding the differences between native species and invasive alien species, cultivating environmental conservation concepts.
