The Architecture and Building Research Institute, National Land Management Agency, and National Park Service of the Ministry of the Interior presented the joint exhibition "Resilient Homeland: Moving Forward Together" at the 2026 SDG Asia, showcasing their achievements in the net-zero transition.

Key highlights include pushing forward the timeline for nearly zero-carbon buildings, cultivating green-collar talent, expanding solar power and energy efficiency rating labels for social housing, demonstrating building-integrated photovoltaics, promoting the longevity of aging homes and the development of green roads, completing carbon accounting for wastewater treatment plants, and expanding the supply of reclaimed water. At the same time, the showcase integrates natural carbon sinks in national parks, corporate partnerships for biodiversity, and low-carbon ecotourism.

The Ministry of the Interior emphasized that, as the building sector is critical to Taiwan's push toward the 2050 net-zero transition, it will drive the upgrading of the construction and building materials industries through policy guidance and real estate information disclosure to implement sustainable living in the future.
