Shoushan National Natural Park Upgrades to Multilingual Services with AI Translation Creating Zero-Distance Communication to Welcome International Visitors

Shoushan National Natural Park attracts over 3 million visits annually. In response to the growing number of international tourists and new residents, the Management Office has completed a multilingual upgrade at the visitor center, providing information and audio guides in 9 languages, and introducing an AI voice recognition system that supports real-time translation in 30 languages.

In alignment with the "2030 Bilingual Policy," the Management Office has collaborated with schools, local organizations, and public and private sectors to promote English guide training and bilingual ecological education activities, organizing 10 distinctive experiences including cave exploration, summer camps, and folk activities.

Last year, a group of American college interns visited Shoushan National Natural Park. In addition to learning Mandarin, they participated in courses, field walking tours, and assisted with activities. After returning to the United States, they shared their experiences of Taiwan's nature and culture, becoming an important bridge for international exchange.

In the future, the Management Office will continue to enhance multilingual and smart services, creating a "zero-distance, borderless" friendly environment to showcase Taiwan's natural beauty and cultural stories to travelers worldwide.
