時間過得真快，現在已經是秋天了! 在台灣我 最喜歡這個季節，天氣好、天空也很晴朗。

Time flies and it's the autumn now!! In Taiwan, I like this season the most for the weather is so nice and the sky is so clear and blue.

其中一個是有關布農族的。玉山國家公園將會舉辦一場獲得世界一致好評的布農八部合音（祈禱豐收歌），這首歌的繁複合音顛覆了音樂是由單音、雙音而發展至合音的理論。你會驚訝於如此繁複的合音是來自一個古老的部落。

聽起來蠻酷的!

One is about Bunun tribe. In Sept., Yushan National Park will provide a performance‘ Pasibutbut',（ “Prayer for the Millet Harvest”）which has been called the ‘sound of nature', has won the plaudit around the world called: “Pasibutbut”. With its complex harmony, the song overturned the scholars' original theory that music originated in single-note melodies, progressing to two-note harmonics, and then on to more complete arrangements. You will be amazed that such a complex harmony came from an ancient tribe.

另一個好消息是大霸尖山在睽違4年後將於九月重新開放。我想對於像你這樣愛好登山的人來說一定很興奮。

是呀～我等不及要再去重溫我之前所見過的那些令人難忘又壯觀的風景了。喔～對了～秋天是最好的賞楓季節，有沒有什麼建議的地方？

The other good news is the about the re-opening of Dabajian Mountain in Shei-Pa National Park in September after 4-year restoration. This is really exciting news for the mountain climbing buffs like you.

Yup, I can't wait to run back over the unforgettable and significant scenery I've seen before. By the way, fall season is the best time for maple tree appreciating, is there any places I could go for that?

當然囉～秋天賞楓一直是國家公園的重頭戲。而且，在台灣有很多原生種楓樹，大部份都集中在中台灣，像是武陵、奧萬大、馬拉邦山特別是塔塔加，是理想的賞楓景點。

哇～聽起來真是不錯。我等不及要將這些行程寫在我的行事曆上。

Definitely. Maples tree appreciating is always the big themes in National Parks in fall. Also, there are many Taiwan original species of maple trees and you can find them in majority in the middle part of Taiwan. Wuling, Aowanda Forest Recreation Area, Malaban Mt. especially Tataka are the ideal places to go.

Wow, sounds great. I can't wait to pencil these activities on my calendar now.

有一件事要提醒你喔～若有要進入玉山或雪霸國家公園，記得要事先申請入山或入園許可證。此外，國家公園管理處目前正在推行一個口號”垃圾不留山”。這是要求每個遊客可以將垃圾隨身帶回，不要留在山上。我們只要舉手之勞，就可以保護台灣的自然資產。

是呀～這可是最重要的事。

There is something I would like to remind you that, when entering the Yushan & Shei-pa National Parks, remember to apply for Park or Mountain entry permits in advance. Also, the National Parks are now propagating an idea called“ Leave no garbage in mountains”. This is to ask the tourists to cooperate by bring along with the trashes and don't leave them in the mountains. We can help to protect Taiwan's nature treasures by just lifting a finger.
